Friends, just a quick update from yesterday’s outreach in Nadi and Lautoka. We had our Christmas outreach yesterday, Kalisi and I cooked up some nice beef curry and rice with juice. Our staff helped us out by making goodie bags and Christmas cards for each one. Kalisi sewed sulus (skirt) for 15 of our regular ladies. Thanks to Joanna for supplying the materials. Also a big thank you to my nephew Torin Tweed for really helping us out with timely funds from Canada. So we had a blessed day. Also Kalisi and I made our way out to Ba prison to hand out Bibles and to share with the men. First time for Kalisi to visit Ba prison with me. We celebrated 10 years of marriage visting the prisoners and then eating burgers. Thanks again for all your prayers and support! God bless and have a blessed week ahead!
We thank you once again for making us part of Resurrection Life Ministries and also Directors of Powerhouse for Youth. It is our pleasure (Kalisi and mine) to always take up the high calling of the Lord. Ever since I had in Fiji since 2008 we have been supported and encouraged by Resurrection Life Ministries Canada. Pastor’s Ray and Leslie Johnson have been with me through the thick and thin and it is our pleasure and duty to serve on the Board of Directors.
As far as Resurrection Life Fiji goes we are busy, busy busy! We are occupying until the Lord’s return. Prison ministry is a full time ministry, whether the Men’s Prison in Lautoka or Ba, and the Women’s Prison as well. Supporting ex inmates upon their release and helping with their families as well. Our street ministry continues on a daily basis. Our Sunday feeding and outreach has been a very powerful ministry. Dealing with the drug and alcohol abuse is also one of RLM-FIJI strengths.
Pastors George and Kalisi Raza feed over 10,000 street people every Year for the past ten years, plus when you do the math on this dedication to serve and love the hurting community that is over 100,000 individuals that receive the Unconditional Love of The Father through this one part of their ministry.
Also 10,000 BIBLES have been distributed this past 12 months, supplied by the Gideon’s through outreaches re: rugby tournaments, street ministry, prison ministry and going door to door evangelizing neighborhood by neighborhood.
Pastors George and Kalisi Raza are planning to come to Carberry this summer and minister the Gospel of Jesus Christ at Holy Spirit Sands Community Church and Community Events this summer… They are looking forward to embracing and loving this community through outreaches and going door to door sharing the Love of Jesus…
